Description Compass used by Julius Coller, II of Shakopee. Coller used the compass to survey land as part of his work as a lawyer. The compass is round, clear plastic. It is divided into quadrants for measuring up to 90 degrees North, South, East and West. Hash marks, numbers and directional letters are seen in black around the edge of the compass. At the center of the compass are a grid in red lines, maker's marks, and text that reads "Pronto/Land Measure Compass".
